Encouraging Parents
Parents have a very challenging 24/7 job of raising children. They need to be affirmed, valued and supported, as well as have opportunities to grow their skills and capability to raise ‘great kids’.

There are many ways in which LOVED 4 LIFE™ can help to grow parents’ skills:
• Networking - we put parents in touch with other parents.
• A Resource - we refer parents to wonderful websites, such as New Zealand’s Parents’ Centre www.parentscentre.org.nz with many tips to help parents and an online question and answer service. We also refer parents to Space at Playcentre https://www.playcentre.org.nz/whatwedo/space-at-playcentre who provide parenting programmes supporting new mothers and their babies.
• We gather in some areas- arranging social events (coffee mornings) to link the different generations in the community and to connect young families.
